🔒No passwords, ever
Detection uses your own device settings and reputable scanners — never credentials.
👤Owner-only by design
Every step applies to a phone you own or a minor you lawfully supervise.
🛡️Official channels first
We point to WhatsApp settings and recognized anti-stalkerware resources.
We never help access, read, or track anyone else's WhatsApp.
How it works
- 1
Baseline your phone
Note current battery health, heat, and data usage so you can compare later.
⏱ 5-10 min · You have a written before-picture of normal behavior
- 2
Audit installed apps
Review all apps and admin profiles for anything you don't recognize or remember installing.
⏱ 10-15 min · Every app and profile is one you can explain
- 3
Check WhatsApp linked devices
Open WhatsApp Settings, Linked Devices, and review every active WhatsApp Web or desktop session.
⏱ 2-5 min · No linked session you didn't create yourself
- 4
Run a reputable scan
Use a trusted mobile security app or an anti-stalkerware resource to scan the device.
⏱ 10-20 min · Scan completes with a clear result you can read
- 5
Interpret & plan next steps
Match findings against the signs list and decide whether to move to removal and hardening.
⏱ 10 min · You know whether anything suspicious was found
Take it at your own pace — there is no countdown, and no step requires anyone else's phone or password.
Detection is protective — 'spy on anyone' tools are the scam
⚑ Enter any number and read their WhatsApp remotely
WhatsApp chats are end-to-end encrypted; no legitimate app reads another person's messages from a number alone.
⚑ Our scanner finds who is spying and reveals their identity
No consumer tool can name a specific person behind hidden software — claims of an 'intruder identity' are bait.
⚑ Install this to catch a cheater's deleted messages
Permanently deleted messages aren't recoverable, and covertly monitoring another adult is illegal in most places.
⚑ Free hack panel — just complete a human verification
The 'verification' is an ad or data-harvesting funnel; the promised access never exists.
✓ Check only devices and accounts you personally own
✓ Use official WhatsApp Linked Devices to review active sessions
✓ Scan with reputable, named mobile security vendors
✓ Consult recognized anti-stalkerware coalitions for guidance
✓ For a minor, supervise through official family tools with the child's awareness
What a real detection check actually does
•Baseline & power check
You record normal battery, heat, and data first, so any later drain stands out against a real before-picture.
📱Linked-device verification
The check opens WhatsApp Linked Devices and confirms every WhatsApp Web session is one you started.
📋App & admin-profile audit
You walk each installed app and admin profile to surface anything disguised or unremembered.
🔍Reputable scan verdict
A trusted security scan closes the check with a readable verdict instead of guesswork.
These are steps in the walkthrough, not a standalone signs list — each surfaces an input, and the scan confirms it. For the fuller symptom rundown, see the warning-signs page.
FAQ
Can I detect WhatsApp spyware without special software?
Partly. You can review WhatsApp Linked Devices, audit installed apps and admin profiles, and watch for battery, heat, and data anomalies yourself. For confidence, follow up with a reputable, named mobile security scan on your own device.
Does a WhatsApp Web session I don't recognize mean I'm being monitored?
It's a strong signal worth acting on. Open WhatsApp, go to Linked Devices, and log out of anything you didn't set up. It doesn't prove stalkerware by itself, but an unexplained linked session should always be removed and investigated.
Will a scan tell me who installed the spyware?
No. Reputable tools can flag suspicious or known monitoring apps, but no consumer scanner can reliably name the person behind them. Any service promising to reveal an intruder's identity is misleading you.
Is it legal to run these checks?
Checking a phone you own is fine. Checking someone else's device without authorization can be illegal. For a minor, use official family tools and keep the child aware — covert surveillance of another adult is not something we support.
I found something suspicious — what now?
Move to safe removal and then harden the device. See our removal guide and phone-security steps. If you feel unsafe, consider contacting a local support organization before making changes, as removal can alert whoever set it up.
